How it works

  1. Capture that doesn’t quit.

    Start recording from the app, the widget, Control Center or the Action Button. Lock the phone; the Lock Screen shows the recording with Pause and Stop.

    If a call or Siri interrupts, Volte pauses and tells you. Nothing is lost silently.

  2. Transcribed on your iPhone.

    Apple’s speech recognition writes the transcript on the device. Apple Intelligence adds a title, a summary and action items.

    Summaries need a supported device and language.

  3. Easy to find again.

    Search every recording, browse by date, and add a note of context to any of them.

  4. Made for what comes next.

    Export audio, Markdown, plain text or JSON, ready for any AI tool or notes app. Copy as Markdown in two taps.

  5. Private by design.

    No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. The App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”. iCloud sync is optional and stays in your private iCloud.
